Welcome. This is our family home away from home, and a little care from everyone keeps it a place we all love coming back to. Please treat it as you would your own.
Before You Arrive
Check the calendar to confirm your dates are booked and clear. The home sleeps one party at a time, so your reservation holds the whole place for your stay.
During Your Stay
Make yourself at home. Cook, relax, enjoy the space. Keep noise reasonable in the evenings out of respect for the neighbours. This is a non smoking home, indoors at all times.
When You Leave
A few simple things keep the next family member walking into a clean, welcoming space. Strip the beds and wash all used sheets and towels. Run them through the wash and the dryer completely, then remake the bed with the clean set so the home is ready for whoever comes next. We never know when the next family member will arrive, so please do not leave any laundry damp or unwashed. Wipe down the kitchen counters and run the dishwasher before you go. Take all garbage and recycling out to the bins. Empty the fridge completely, nothing left behind, no leftovers, no open containers. Turn the heat down, lock up, and make sure all windows are closed. Before you head out, take a photo of the family that stayed this trip and add it to the Langham Memories so we can all share in the good times.
The Little Things
Extra alcohol, coffee, tea, or pantry staples are always welcome to leave behind for the next family member. It is a nice touch and the spirit of the place. If you use the last of something, a quick note or a replacement is appreciated.
If Something Breaks or Runs Out
It happens. Just let the family know so we can sort it out and restock. No stress, honesty keeps everything running smoothly.
Parking
Park in the driveway only. Please leave street access clear for neighbours.
